12 Days of Christmas: Daze of Days

12 Days of Christmas: Daze of Days

I'm sure I'm not the only one who got lost in the hustle and bustle of Christmas activities, but I hate that I didn't finish this series out for several reasons. The gifts were so much fun to open each day and I really liked the graphic...oh well. Life really did pick up the end of December and we ended up with doing some unexpected traveling. But we did manage to open all our presents, which included: goo gone, assorted kitchen gadgets, shout wipes, new pencils!, earrings, notepads, and bedazzled pens.

Thanks again to Beth's parents for making our Christmas season festive!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 2

Beth's parents brought in 12 gifts for each of us to countdown to Christmas during their recent visit!

Day 2: Pajamas

Even though we opened them mid-day, we put these pjs on just as soon as we saw them! So cozy and warm!

Merry Christmas!

Life on the Road

We've been doing an exuberant amount of traveling lately and while it is taking it's toll, we've also been able to capture some interesting and unusual sights!

Camels and Carols:
One can still attempt to be festive when driving through the Sahara, just put on some Christmas tunes! Maybe the camels like it, too!

Sheep, that's what's for dinner:

No lamb for you? How about some eggs?

Just don't eat while driving:

12 Days of Christmas: Day 1

Every year Beth's parents wrap thoughtful gifts, one for all 12 days counting down to Christmas. The past few years, they've even included me in the fun! We thought it would be a great way to get into the Christmas cheer by showing our gifts each day. Thanks C & B for your sweet gifts, maybe this will help prevent any sneak peeking with the gifts? ;)

Day 1: Ornaments

A coon and an owl! Aren't they cute? I wonder if anyone recognizes why Beth's ornament is special?

Merry Christmas!

30daysofgivingthanks: day 30

November 30, 2013

Today I'm thankful because I'm gonna be an aunt!!!

I've been holding my lips squeezed tight for a few weeks now, and decidedly it'd be a great way to end out this #30daysofgivingthanks! My sister and her husband are expecting a baby sometime next June and I could not be more thrilled! I'm so excited that I should hopefully be home in time to welcome little baby Lee into the world! So thankful for this special little miracle. Congratulations Bethany and Mark!
